Chances at Carnegie Mellon

What are my chances if I'm applying EARLY DECISION electrical engineering at cmu?

Various Honors courses over the years plus the APs

CMU doesnt look at freshman year (I got mostly Bs), I got 6 Bs (88+) sophomore year (for both semesters) but the rest of my grades should be all As and I'm trying to overload my schedule with AP classes to show my "improvement."

none at all. you're not getting into college, just accept it.

You're a practical shoe-in at Carnegie Mellon. I'd think of that as more of a safety for you. Unless you have a free ride there or something, why not shoot for MIT or Caltech? Assuming your grades are good, you seem like a reasonable candidate.

He got mostly Bs freshman year and 6Bs sophomore year, doesn't sound like a shoe-in to me or someone that should necessarily shoot for MIT or Caltech. Anyway, I'd expect you to get in and you shouldn't need to retake SATs, although there's no reason not to retake the SATs if you think you can do better.

I didn't see the six Bs freshman and sophomore year part. Scratch MIT and Caltech. You should still have a very good chance at Carnegie Mellon.
