Chances at CAS (or GSP, even) with fairly low GPA

<p>I'm applying RD for the "Dramatic Lit, Theatre History, and the Cinema" major.</p>

<p>Stats:</p>

<p>SAT: 730 verbal, 650 math, 1380 total
SAT II: 740 literature, 690 writing, 590 US history (I have no idea what happened there)
GPA: 3.4 unweighted (my mediocre math and science grades are the cause of my relatively low GPA)
AP classes: US History, Biology, English Lit
Honors classes: Geometry, Biology, World Lit, Algebra II, Chemistry, World History, American Lit, Trig, English Lit, Humanities</p>

<p>Senior Year Schedule and Current Grades:

Humanities (Honors - 2 hours; 92)
Spanish III (93)
Physics (94)
AP English (92)</p>

<p>I should be able to raise my GPA a bit after this semester.</p>

<p>ECs/Awards (I don't have too many, but I am extremely devoted to the clubs I participate in):</p>

<p>One of my sisters is currently at NYU Stern for grad school. I don't think that would help any, but just in case.</p>

<p>Your SATs are okay, your GPA is kind of low. Overall, you are a competitive applicant.</p>
