bump...bump...

You have a very good to excellent chance at Case Western, especially applying early.

Woah, you must live by me...where do you go to school? And you're a 1st gen. college student and you're Asian? That's unique, they'll like that.

But I thought CWRU only had EA not ED...whatever. Good luck! :)

Thanks for the replies; I'm very weak (generally) in math/science (as you can see from SAT scores). Do you think this would hurt my chances at Case at all?. I meant EA; they don't have ED at Case - typo:-) Anyone else???

bump..............

bump...come on people...any more replies?! (Out of curiousity, does anybody have any suggestions/reccomendations for other colleges I could be looking at based on my stats???)

bump bump bump

wish i could help you out but dont know about the new sat.. check out umich and nyu

If you’re looking for a smaller school in Ohio, you may want to consider Denison, an excellent liberal arts college located in Granville, which is roughly 30 miles outside of Columbus. Denison has a strong political science department, a beautiful campus, a very good honors program, and is very generous with merit aid and financial aid.

Also look at College of Wooster.

Maybe you could check out Grinnell?

Not to steal your thread or anything, but I'm also looking for Case as my first choice [EA]. I was wondering what you think my chances would be. My stats are on my original post: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=2443&highlight=case+western. Thanks a lot.

Hey, no problem. It's a bump, so whatever(-: Case is definitely a perfect fit for me (in terms of what I'm looking for)...can anyone else give some insight into how my stats look for what Case wants?? Is the math weakness going to hurt?

I'm not sure about the new SATs, but I think your verbal score is good, and even a 610 for Math isn't too too bad. Just see how the real SATs go. Your verbal might offset the Math, depending on which major you want to go into. If you want to go into an engineering major, it would be best to bring that score up a little.
