I’m currently a junior in high school.
My weighted GPA is a 4.63 and my unweighted GPA is around a 3.85.
I just got my ACT score back and I got a 30. (27 27 33 32)
I’m taking 4 AP Classes this year. (AP Chem. AP Physics I. APUSH. AP Lang&Comp)
Next year I’m going to be taking 6 AP Classes. (AP Calc AB. AP Bio. AP Gov. AP Psychology. AP Lit&Comp. AP World History)
I visited the school last week and it is probably my top choice.
I want to major in Chemistry and Premed.
Some of my most consistent extra curriculars: Baseball Frosh, Sop, Junior, and I will play senior year. Basketball freshman year. BEE leader at my school (mentors freshman). Student Athlete Leadership Team. Travel Baseball for 8 years. Summer Baseball with my school for 3 years. I have received a few awards at my school but nothing major.
I’m White. Male. Income: >200,000
@zbthsjunior I think you have a good chance, but you could probably make your application a stronger by taking the ACT one more time. Many students do better the second time they take it, since they have a little more experience with it. There are some excellent study guides available. Even a point or two more might help. I think your AP courses (this year and next) and GPA look really good. You should certainly express your interest to the admissions counselor who serves your area. Also, If you are interested in playing baseball at CWRU, you might want to drop the coach a note of interest. CWRU is certainly a solid choice for Chemistry and Pre-med. I wish you great luck with the rest of the junior year and college search.
Thanks for the feedback!
Visiting is a great way to show interest…here are others:

I already visited at an open house
I agree with Wizard…
Your gpa is very good just get that ACT up.
Question:
Is your gpa on a 4.00 scale, if so, is that 4.63 cumulative (All years of high school)? (+1 for AP and +.5 for honors? that’s how my school does it)
If so, that is a solid GPA
Wondering because my unweighted is like a 3.98/4 max and my weighted is 4.68/5 max (on a 4.00 scale with +1 for AP and +.5 for honors)
Your weighted is only .05 different than mine but your unweighted is over .1 point off? Wondering how that’s possible?
@aimingtop50 my school does a +1 for AP and a +1 for honors as well.
Wow +1 for honors. That’s alot. And it explains it.
Anyways, just try to take the ACT again (or maybe take a practice SAT and see how you do)
Good luck!
