<p>Personal Info: I am a first-generation Colombian immigrant with a US permanent residency. My father is well-educated and my mother did not go to college. My dad has a well-paying job but we have very little fortune seeing as though we came to the US with very little to begin with.</p>
<p>High School GPA: 3.4. It is not excellent but I go (with financial aid) to one of the best independent schools in the country. Alumni include CHelsea Clinton, Bill Nye the Science guy, a bunch of dipomat and politicians' sons and daughters. My school doesn't rank but I assume I am at least top 15%. Most kids at my school have gotten over 1400 on the old SAT. I have one of the hardest course loads of my graduating class.</p>

<p>SAT IIs: World History 720, Chemistry 690, US History 760, Physics 660, French With listening 750, Eng LIt 680, Spanish with list 800, Math IIC 760</p>
<p>APs: US History 4, French Lang 4, Spanish 5, plan to take 4 or 5 more after senior year</p>

-60 hours community service at an AIDS clinic in Colombia (teaching english to kids, teaching them about sexual health, etc)
-another 50 or 60 hrs of community service programs with my school
-president of the LAtin American Society
-Went to NAtionwide diversity leadership conference this year
-It's Academic (academic decathlon) 11,12
-Aids club 11,12
-Got accepted into selective japan educational visit program</p>
