GPA, Class Rank/Size: 4.0 unweighted, more than 4.0 weighted, Will have taken 12 AP Classes by the end o High School( more than anyone else in my school), School doesnt rank but i think Top 10/430, School was ranked Top 200 school by that USNews article</p>

<p>If you will have written respectable, or even semi-respectable, essays come application time, I would guess that you'd be accepted without hesitation. Starting a record label is very impressive. If music is a serious passion of yours, definitely fiddle around with it as an essay topic.</p>

<p>Well, "starting a record label" could mean many things - I think that in order for an admissions committee to be truly impressed by this, they would have to know specific details. For instance, has the record label actually sold any CDs (retail)?</p>
<p>^ of course random it would be something i would have to expand on. right now im in the process of working on a cd with a group and im working to figure out the best route of selling in order to maximize profits, i am working on planning shows to generate a buzz and then maybe tie it into retail, it is more profitable to sell it one self though</p>

<p>'starting a record label' could easily be a ******** thing to write down if u didnt actually couple it with actual work, which is why i am prepared to show it as a serious work of mine</p>
