<p>I want to major in Economics or Finance. PLEASE SUGGEST ME SOME GOOD COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES IN NEWENGLAND...AND ALSO WHAT ARE MY CHANCES AT COLLEGE OF HOLY CROSS ?</p>

<p>Try Hampshire College if you feel like it. Like Holy Cross, it’s test-optional.</p>

<p>Or, if you’re willing to go to Canada, HEC might be a viable choice.</p>

<p>Most colleges that don’t take SAT/ACT scores into account are LACs so the best ones you might get into are likely LACs. Again, this list is put together without regard to a regional restriction:</p>

<p>Doubtful test-optional (please check whether those schools really are test-optional before applying!)</p>

<p>I think you’ll get in. I wouldn’t submit that act score though if you haven’t already. Stick with the sat</p>

<p>If it was 1300 on the 1600 scale, I’d say, OK, stick with the SAT, but is the 1300 on the 1600 scale or the 2400 scale?</p>

Dickinson College in Pennsylvania is also test optional, and a pretty good school (top 50 LAC). Im not sure about their economics or finance programs.</p>
