Chances at Colorado

I have a 3.3 GPA
SAT: 1290
ACT: 29
EC: Science Olympiad, Latin Club, Lacrosse, CAD Club, Key Club, Piano Lessons, I take Chinese at a community college

My father passed away fresh year and my grandma soph year, so I was wondering what my chances were at University of Colorado

Very fine chances.

out of state i'm not positive, but you seem to have an excellent chance. emphasize diversity, don't play the pity card too hard. (unless you've already applied, then don't worry about it). maybe i'll see you next year! i don't think i'm getting in to my other choices. but with honors and the president's leadership class and money, cu's looking damn good.

Did PLC already get back to you?
Also, do you have to apply to their Honors program?

It's my extreme safety (something drastic happens, already in @ Notre Dame), but don't think it would hurt to try for either one.

And I think you should be in. I think guaranteed for in-state is something like a 27 on the ACT. You beat that, and they want the out-of-state money.

no plc didn't get back to me. sorry, that was presumptuous. nor have i been accepted to honors. also, for honors you have to commit to the school first, i think. which sucks, because you have to by april 1, before i would hear back from other schools...

however, i know people in honors and plc, and from what i can tell (and what my gc says) i can probably get into both. definitely honors, at least. probably plc.

You got it dude, especially if you gain residency. Now go reply to my thread.
