She doesn’t have a chance

Too bad she’s already a member of the Columbia Engineering Class of '15, BUTCH!
I just wanted to see how accurate you guys at CC are, and my predictions deem valid; you guys are so harsh towards people. Besides, half of you guys are fakes and lie about all your grades. …just sayin

If “Guyanese” is an URM then that makes sense…

@EliKresses - no, Guyanese is NOT a URM

Then again, 4/700 class rank and 1000+ service hours is rather impressive…

good job OP. i totally agree that Columbia looks at a lot more than grades.

let’s see how you perform in my classes in the coming years ;)

LOL!

you do come across as a little bit naive but if this makes you that happy… :)

I’m sorry, how does that make me naive?

Guyanese is certainly a URM. Even so, it’s pretty impressive that someone with only an 1860/2400 on the SAT I and a 640/800 on Math I was admitted to SEAS. Clearly, her essays and teacher recs are much better than “decent.” So congratulations to your friend!
