Chances at Columbia, Princeton, Yale?

Hi everyone! These boards seem to be great support groups, so I'm hoping you all can help me in rating my chances at Columbia ED and Princeton RD (my top two choices), as well as:

Yale University RD
Swarthmore College RD
Brown University RD
Cornell University RD
New York University RD

Of course, I've already applied to Columbia, but this will help me greatly in the event that I (knock on wood) get deferred or rejected come Dec 15.

Since they're all competitive schools, this isn't going to be very helpful. You have as much of a chance as anyone who applies. You're certainly well within the range of people they accept.

what happened to the world of safety schools?

thanks, haosquared. 1rock1ce, University of Toronto is my safety, actually, since Canadian universities only look at Grade 12 marks, and the range of averages needed for my major is 75-85; anything over an 85 is guaranteed admission (besides, I work for a professor who is quite close with the dean of admissions :)). McGill's required avg, I'm told, is somewhere from an 85-90. I know what you mean though, the US schools are my list are reaches.

do you give all ur teachers head or something?

no, I'm not like you.

just kidding. ;)
