Chances at Columbia? Will chance back.

I would really appreciate your feedback. I'm a rising senior, currently looking at Stanford, Yale, Columbia, and some other schools.

Asian male, New York state

AP Courses: US History, World History, Calculus BC, Biology, and next year I'll be taking English (Literature and Composition), Economics (Macro), Physics B (only one my school offers) and Spanish. Also non AP, Calculus 3 if that helps.

GPA (unweighted): 95
SAT 1: 2190 (800 Critical Reading, 720 Math, 670 Writing grr), though I am going to retake it in October and figure I can at least get it into the 2200s.
SAT 2: 800 in World History, 780 in Biology

Extra curricular stuff:
High school band first seat tenor saxophone since 9th grade
Student Senate President, joined in 10th grade
Key Club President, joined in 9th grade
Speech and Debate club President, founded the club in 11th grade
Badminton Club co-president in 10th grade

Other miscellaneous stuff:
Interned at an acoustics lab for awhile, but I didn't get any research out of it.
I went to a film camp at NYSSSA, not sure if anyone knows what that is.
Fluent in Chinese (big stretch I realize).
Played piano until 10th grade.
I also do some general volunteering throughout the year.

Thank you so much.

Hey! Welcome to CC. And from the outset, I can say you’re pretty similar to a lot of people on here.
I.e. you’re an over-represented-minority (ORM) from an over-represented state, New York in your case. Which sort of grabs you like a weight and hurts your chances, but I’m in the same pool, so meh.
Your academics seem okay. Do you have a rank?
Test scores leave something to be desired, definitely a little low for HYPSM and Ivies, and I’m taking it that’s where you’re aiming for.
Your ECs are so and so, similar to most Asians, and lacking in focus (once again, like mine). I would say that Stanford and Yale are high reaches, and Columbia is a reach. Don’t feel bad; it’s like that for almost everyone.

Surprising SAT score layout.

All of those schools are reaches. I would suggest look into smaller name schools and try to get a scholarship with the 1520 CR+M.

Best of luck.
