Chances at Columbia?

Hey guys, I was wondering if you think that I could get into Columbia early decision.

I was head volunteer at a daycare
I was a counselor at camp in West Virginia

I think that my essays are good, but I would love feedback. If you want to read them, PM me.

Your stats are good, but I don’t really see anything that stands out and makes you Columbia-worthy. What’s your class rank? If you’re top 1% that’ll help. It’ll probably come down to your essays and recommendations at this point. Applying early will also help. However, I’d still say it’s a reach just because it is an Ivy-league school and all Ivies have less than a 10% acceptance rate.

If you want me to read your essays, you can PM them over to me.

For every student, even those getting 2400s and 2300s, an IVY school should be considered a reach. Always.

Hopeful360, do you have an email I can reach you at? For some reason it won’t let me PM

You need 15 posts to PM I think, it’s some stupid rule that they have.
