Colleges that I'm looking into:
Columbia University
Barnard College
CUNY Honors College: Baruch College
Stony Brook University
Princeton University
New York University
Hofstra University
St. John's University

NOTE*- I feel that I'm pretty covered for the most part, but my SAT scores are terrible (please don't rub it in, lol, it hurts as it is) Planning to take the test over in Oct./Nov.

Think I have a chance? =/

i think it looks good except for those scores...I would think you need at least 670's to get into columbia.

Your EC's are excellent! But your scores are really going to keep you down. Feh, I hate testing. Have you tried the ACT?

As it now stands:

Columbia: High reach
Barnard: Low reach/High Match (your EC's and rank might make up for it)
CUNY Baruch: I'd say this could be a match.
Stony Brook: Match
Princeton: High reach
NYU: Reach
Hofstra: Match
St. John's: Match

Some of your reaches may take into account that your rank, GPA, and EC's are awesome. But I can't really predict that, so, as for now, just try try try to up your SATs.

Everything except for your test scores look good. Unfortunately, this is what's going to keep you from being accepted at Columbia.

Thanks, that's just the answer I expected to get. I'm actually trying really hard to boost my scores. And yes, I am considering the ACT as well. Have any of you taken the ACT's? Any advice?

Well I had a whole online sat course my parents bought and i used it but when I took the test i got 720 M 600CR and 600W. I was really dissapointed in the CR and W. I signed up for the sat, bought the smallest review book I could find, read it a week prior, no practice tests and got a 33 so I was rly pleased. It varies person to person. Take the ACT and see how you like it.
