OK...so I got my SATII scores...and...um....they're bad.

USH=740/89%ile...should have gotten higher..I got an A in APUSH.
2C=650/40%ile...crying...same thing here I got an A in precalculus
French=610/45%ile...crying...I was in AP French. I should have scored higher.

Anyway yeah do I even have a chance at college? Should I just pick up an application to Starbucks?

What you know for sure is that your school has rampant grade inflation. Colleges will know too. I don't think a community college is in your future, but Stern may not be too realistic. Just have a bunch of applications to schools where you are in the top 25%.

OK...then I'm screwed...I have a 3.52UWGPA so now I have bad grades AND bad scores. Great. Now I'm going to get rejected at community college. I might as well jump off a bridge. :(

Hmm... 3.5? Is that trying your hardest? Or could you spend more time studying? If it's the latter and not the former, there's always hope (even if you start at a CC and transfer out).

just out of curiosity, cause I don't know much about stern, can you apply to NYU under an "undecided" major, work your butt off, and then apply for business later?

Why does everyone want the same 15 schools. With your stats you'll get into good undergrad B school programs like Indiana. There's Bently and UMich. Just retool the list.

The real question is, "Why do only overachievers frequent this site?"

I have yet to see any BAD stats posted. It's kind of ridiculous. Just go to a state school, save some money, and have fun. College is what YOU make it, that's what I always say.

Do you think you even have a chance at Starbucks with scores like that? You're lucky if you can peel potatoes for the guys that make the cups for the guys that clean the floors in Starbucks. I'd work on my whittling skills, as well.

^Way to over-react and contribute to the 'problem'. :) It's a single thread in the middle of the internet that none of us are likely to care about 12 hours from now.

ok people have problems

What the HECK??? its a 3.5... there are plenty of people with like 2.5 that end up at normal universities... and your SAT IIs are all in the 600s and 700s... calm down, and put it all in perspective... plenty of colleges (not just community colleges!) dont care about sat IIs anyway!
