Chances at Cornell and UCB?

<p>This is my first time posting on this forum, and I'm not sure if I've left anything out here, but here goes: </p>

<p>GPA: 3.8-9 (uw) / 4.8 (w- if uncapped) otherwise at max.
SAT: 2120, 2200, 2240 (from latest to earliest) planning on taking it again
SAT II: 800 (Korean), 780 (US History) + Planning for Math 2C (750+)
APS: 10th- World History, Biology, 11th- US History, English Language, 12th- Government, English Lit, Psychology (Planning)
^Passed all but biology</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
School Newsletter- Editor (11th), Editor in Chief (12th)
Church Youth Group- Representative (9th), Vice President (11th)
Asian Society Club- Member (11th), President (12th)
School Yearbook- Member (11th), Editor (12th)
AWANA Club- Teacher/leader (9th, 10th, 11th)
Interact Club- Member (9th, 10th, 11th, 12th) </p>

<p>Volunteering/Community service:
TeensReach- (11th, 12th) 2hrs a week
Library Volunteer- (11th, 12th) 2hrs a week
CityTeam- Volunteer (9th, 10th, 11th, 12th) 1-2 a month for whole day</p>

<p>And a little about myself: Ever since I took a general course in Psychology in Sophmore year, I have found a passion for the subject. I will point that out as my major in my application, and will write about my goal to become a Psychologist with an emphasis in Social/Personality Psychology in my essay. Thus far, I have taken the following Psychology courses:
General Psychology
Developmental Psychology
Abnormal Psychology
Family and Marriage (Psychology)
Human Sexuality (Psychology)
Biological Psychology
I took the above courses at the local community college because I am a part time college/high school student. I recieve high school credit for the college classes I take. So a great majority of the classes on my high school transcript are college courses. (Around 80%) </p>

<p>What are my chances at Cornell (School of Arts & Sciences)- for early deciscion and UC Berkeley (CA resident)? And perhaps any recommendations for other schools?</p>

<p>I think that your interest in psychology would help a lot and would overshadow anything that is not as good. One question is: does your high school have a core curriculum? wondering how you fit in all those psychology courses in there... and by "passing", you got 5s?</p>

<p>Yea my high school has a core curriculum. But we have time in our schedules to fit in college classes (esp. because it's located directly on the college campus). I took these psychology classes in the summer and throughout the school years.
And by passing ..
APUSH- 5
APWH- 3
APENG- 4
So far I've only taken those. </p>

<p>Any other comments are greatly appreciated.</p>
