Hi everyone,
I was wondering how you think my chances of getting accepted into Cornell (Agriculture and Life Sciences) are if I do Early Decision. I am from NY (Long Island), have a 2130 Sat - 630 M, 750W, and 750 C R, (or i could submit another sat that I also got 2130 on - 660M, 720W, 750CR ). I also have a 31 ACT composite score. I have taken all APs and honors, and my weighted GPA is somewhere around 99. I have played the piano and violin for 10 years, am of Indian descent, and am highly involved in clubs at school such as the newspaper club, Tri-M, LEAP (leadership club), Chamber Orchestra, Robotics, and the Academic Club. My recommendations will hopefully be very good, as will my admissions essay. I am also interning at a laboratory over the summer and through the academic year. My SAT2s are my weak point - My only decent one is a 720 in US history, though I am taking bio and math 2 in november. However, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences does not require any sat2s. What do you think my chances are? Thank you so much for taking the time to read this!

Your SAT II’s are not going to hurt you at all since they are not required. If your class rank is in the top 10%, I think you have an above average chance.

Thank you very much I am in the top 5% of my school, though I don’t know the exact ranking. Should I submit my ACT or SAT?

SAT (superscore) score is higher according to this:
