EC's: Aikido Black Belt (teachers assistant), Varsity Chess, Varsity Tennis, Tutor Club, Key Club, Internship at local Biochem company, National Honors Society, Bellevue Youth Symphony (concert master), made playoffs for violin contest, awards from orchestra teacher, Tennis team captain. </p>

<p>All I know about MIT is that they're looking for people who "care about what they're doing," and not for people who are trying to fill in a college resume with 50 things. Trust me, my dad went to MIT himself, and i've spoken to an alumni from MIT during college night. Work on emphasizing certain things, like Tennis and Violin, as things you really do.</p>
