Work Experience:
I have been active in community and regional theater since 5th grade, have made an estimated $2000 dollars from it.
I have also had a job providing the english voice to Japanese animation series for three years, and have made almost $8000 from that
Luckily acted in a national commercial (which ironically was only shown once at 4 am) for Cellular One, made approx. $4000

Normally I wouldn't consider myself a big contender for these schools, but this summer I am attending TASP (Telluride Association Summer Program) at Cornell University for six weeks, which apparently is the most prestigious liberal arts program for highschoolers (comparable to MIT's RSI). I think this is the one thing that gives me the boost into candidacy at Ivy Leagues.

I plan to major in philosophy and writing. In my application I will emphasize my writing accomplishments as well as Latin.

I would love to know what you guys think. It's so hard to tell where to apply now. If you have any other suggestions of schools to consider, please tell me.

This is in the class of 2009 forum, not the ask my chances forum or even the regular cornell forum.

Which is why I choose not to respond.

ya repost it in the main cornell forum.

and i find it amusing to see the GPA calculated to the 10,000ths place :D
