i say cornell is a good reach. no ap scholar award? make sure ur truly passionate about one or two of your extracurriculars! btw ur fluent in french, or just taking it in school. i can understand if you were brought up speaking french at home.

Your qualifications look great. Make your essay memorable so you stand out!

Good reach? Snowgirl's having problems with terminology again.....

I'd say you're pretty much set. I mean people like to split hairs and make predictions and read way too deep into this kind of thing, but the fact of the matter is that the good, old-fashioned way to get into an elite school is to take hard classes, do well in them, and get high test scores. Which it seems you have done. Just make sure the essays are better than decent.

thanks guys i really appreciate the input

-zain

bump bump bump

Cornell is not a good reach..as perro said, you're basically set to go for Cornell.

so if you take a lot of really hard classes, what's your definition of doing "well"?

O.K. I've looked at the name of every college and can't figure it out....

What's RD?

Aha! I got it: Regular Decision, right? Duh.
