Chances at Cornell, Stanford?

I am from India, and I REALLY want to get into Cornell or Stanford. I'm applying ED to Cornell because:
1) it's need blind for international applicants
2) it's got a huge TATA scholarship for Indians
3) it's got a high ED admission rate

SAT score: 2290. I took it without prep and wrote my essay in cursive, which cost me points, bu don't have the time to take it again now.

Subject Tests:
Math level 2: 790 and 780 (took it twice, second time without prep)
Physics: 800
Chemistry: 790

My ECs, I feel are not strong compared to those of Americans. The emphasis on ECs is really not strong here in India:
- 8 years of piano (currently in Grade 7)
- EPGY summer courses at Stanford in 2012
- a couple of years of tennis, roller skating (no recognition in high school)
- Member of Student Council as Secretary of Literary Affairs
- Member of student govt throughout high school
- short internship at Hachette Publishing
- work experience camp in grade 10 and 12
- public speaking (recitation) in 9th, 11th (awarded merit card)

I generally score top marks in class, and have received a few scholarships (best all rounder for middle school, highest aggregate in grade 10, highest in science in grade 10, best all rounder for junior year).

I worried about my essays because I feel I'm starting very late.

PLEASE PLEASE chance me?

Those sound good, although your EC’s aren’t amazing, your grades are good, and I’m sure your EC’s would look good in comparison to people in your area. Essay wise, I don’t think time has much to do with it.

GPA? Looking at your SATs and EC’s I would say it is possible, but by no means certain. Hopefully your academic achievements will make up for your average ECs. Mkae sure you have a very strong essay and recommendations as well.
Good luck getting into Cornell and Stanford!

Thanks for replying!
I had perfect 10.0s in 9th and 10th grade.
I just calculated my GPA for 11th (for 86%). The calculator gave me a 4.0 :O
