Hi everyone,
I was wondering how you think my chances of getting accepted into Cornell (Arts and Sciences) are. I have a 2110 Sat - 650 M, 770W, and 690 CR. Superscored I have a 2170: 650 M, 770 W, 760 CR. I also have a 30 ACT composite score. I have taken all APs (12) and honors, and my weighted GPA is somewhere around 98. I have played the piano and violin for 10 years, am of Indian descent, and am highly involved in clubs at school such as the newspaper club, Tri-M, LEAP (leadership club), Chamber Orchestra, Robotics, and the Academic Club. My recommendations will be very good, as will my admissions essay. I am also interning at a laboratory over the summer and through the academic year. I have a pending patent as a result of my research in hydrogen production. My SAT2s are my weak point - US 670, Literature 710. If I don't get into CAS, I applied to CALS as a 2nd choice as an Applied Economics and Management Major. My twin sister applied Early Decision to Cornell CALS and was accepted. Will this help/hurt my chances? We have VERY similar scores and are both on the patent. Our essays, however, are very different. What do you think my chances are? Thank you so much for taking the time to read this!

Apparently the essay on the supplement is weighed very heavily so with everything else going for you, you are a good applicant

Same boat so I hope :)
