I totally agree with the above post, you a super strong resume and the only reason you would not get in is the school already had spots with students with similar stuff as you! I think you would be fine like I said at all those schools! Good luck and thanks for the chance!!!

I think your hooks and scores will definitely work for you. Don’t stress too much on SAT IIs, just be sure to write stellar essays, and like someone earlier said, you should for sure be fine for UChicago. You’re a competitive candidate for most of these schools, and I think you’ll get in! Good luck :)

To be quite honest, you are exaggerating with your scores. You did not do horrible whatsoever. You are set with them. All you need to focus on is outshining the others with your writing.

the writing is the worst part I only have 2 essays done so far (common app)

William and Mary - Low match/safety (your location?)

I live in VA, so I’m in-state for W&M and Virginia Tech. Just chanced everyone back! Any more advice/warnings/criticism? :)

bump! 10char

I can only really give input about Cornell, as I have applied there and my brother went there for undergrad. Honestly, I think you have a pretty good chance. My brother got into Cornell with about a 2080 on his SATs (this was 6 years ago though), I don’t think the SATII’s are as important as the SATI. The only thing that I believe may hurt you slightly are your EC’s, everything else looks great!

Here is my thread with all my info and colleges if you can chance me too

– sorry if I wasn’t a ton of help! I don’t know a lot about really elite schools and I’m really only applying to Cornell because I thought I might as well give it a try.

Thanks! I’m trying not to put all of my hopes on a school like Dartmouth or Amherst but it’s harder than I thought… :(
