<p>While this all appears rather favorable:

  1. You’re a first-semester junior, so there’s a long, demanding path ahead.
  2. Your ECs aren’t bad, but neither are they impressive.
  3. You really need to understand that Cornell will deny many deserving and distinguished applicants, with essentially similar records.</p>

<p>In sum, CONGRATULATIONS: you’re doing well, you’re on-track, BUT the competition is extreme.</p>
