<p>I am a rising senior in hs and i was just wondering if cornell is possible.
my stats are:
2170 SAT
+ranked 9th in class of 300
+3 varsity sports: xc, track, track and captain of the xc team this fall
+vice president of community service aimed club
+in nhs
+involved in the art department at school and have had art displayed in shows
+participated in a geology course offered through stony brook
+other not so important acts of community service that i wont waste anyones time listing </p>

<p>anyway, i am interested in becoming an engineer</p>

<p>i think you can get in; it seems like the stats to get into cornell are going down each year. but of course you'll need a great essay, recs, etc...</p>
