I am Indian as well...i need all the feedback i can get and if there is any other schools anyone thinks i should consider! Thanks a lot!

SATV + 100 and very good.

any other input??

** bump **

is my verbal score holding me back by a lot? can my math score make up for my verbal....because i'm beginning to lose hope with my change of getting in even ED

i think ED you have a very good shot. Over 40% of applicants get in ED at Cornell. Your SAT is a little low, but its not THAT low. It is close to Cornells average.

so to summarize, i think you have a decent shot. I cant say 100% your in, but i would say 89%
Good luck!

You have VERY lopsided SAT score. Like I sad on another post. Math scores CANNOT make up for verbal scores, and verbal scores cannot make up for math scores. They're looked at completely separately. If you are not proficient in english, I would recommend noting it on your application and perhaps taking a toefl as well.

You have a decent shot but if you can get verbal over 600 you are in. 560 hurts.

thanks for the input guys

well...its not that i'm a foreigner...i guess i'm just REALLY bad in verbal; however, i'm still in ap english, so i don't understand my deal

Another aspect, your EC does not distinquish you from the field. Unless you have a killer essay you might consider adding another school to your possible ED choice.

*** bump ***
