-varsity football
-won cornell book award
-mother was Portuguese immigrant
-very active in my church
-helped manage a state park
-have been complimented on persuasive/political type essays so I believe i could write a very good essay
-my principal is very enthusiastic about writing a letter of recommendation for me, even going so far as to say he would call a Cornell admissions officer to get me in
(these last two are more emotional considerations as opposed to hard facts that I have going for me)</p>
