<p>ACT - I've only taken it once. Should I try to do better?

<p>If there is any more information that would be useful I will try to provide it.
I would also appreciate it if you could provide a few examples of out of state schools that I may have a chance of getting some kind of academic scholarship towards.</p>

Uni of Maryland- high match
Depending on is/oos, URM, first gen, etc. the likelihoods of acceptance will vary, but the class rank is why I would say some of your unis are reaches.</p>
