Chances at Dartmouth, Claremont mckenna etc?? International student looking for help!

Hello !
First of all, i would like to thank you for taking the time to read this ! I would like you to help me with something..
I am currently living in Morocco and attending a French High School (ranked among the best ones). My unweighted GPA is 3.6 (As & few Bs) , i am fluent (speaking & writing) in English, French, Arabic & Moroccan Arabic. I have taken Economy & Political science as a major (we had the choice between Econ, math & french literature)
I still haven't taken the SATs yet (planning to take them during the summer) along with the TOEFL..
I have had one of the best grades in English (Top 10 - out of around 100/120). As extracurricular activities, i can mention horse riding, swimming (not planning on pursuing them in college) & some volunteering.
And i also have had good recommendation letters for some teachers.
Plus, tuition is not an issue (not going to ask for financial aid)

I would like to know if you think that i have any shot of getting in Dartmouth college or any similar college ?? NYU ??
If not, which one would you advise me ? (I was considering Depaul U, Pace U, etc as backups)
Thank you VERY MUCH !

(I have been ask to move this post in here :) )

We really don’t have much to go on.

We can’t chance you at all without an SAT score.

Your ECs seem seriously lacking for Dartmouth and CMC.

And what about DePaul, Pace, Loyola Marymount or other similar colleges ?? (they do not require SATs or ACTs … so that i can have advices)
Thank you very much !

I think you stand a very good chance for them.

And for the ECs ? What would i do to improve 'em ?

Perhaps a summer internship might help.

Honestly I think it will be very very hard for you to get into Dartmouth or Claremont McKenna. We don’t have your test scores so I can’t really give you a good chance but assuming they’re well in the range of students admitted what is going to hurt you is your GPA and your lack of depth in your extra-curriculars. But then again, CMC and Dartmouth are so unpredictable it’s really impossible to chance for them. Your backups look good–you’ll have a solid chance of getting in. You should find some middle ground schools that aren’t necessarily backups but aren’t ivy/top LAC with less than 15% acceptance.

Thank you for answering !
Well, i am going to list you all my ECs (i thought it was not important to mention them all …) :

  • Horse riding & swimming
  • Volunteering/Tutoring
  • MUN (Model United Nations)
  • Class Representative (for 2011/2012)
  • Member of the Student Council (elected in 2011/2012 for two years)
    And for the internships :
• I have worked with a lawyer firm for 1 month in December 2011 (even though i wasn’t doing much …)
^ This is the complete list
After reading you replies, i am starting considering other colleges such as UCLA (that some friends got into), …

I would also like to ask something … In French high schools there is only 3 years in High school (we have one more year in junior high than the US) So, should i send only the transcripts for THE high school or even the last Junior High one to make it four ?

You guys rock !
