Basics:
Good ecs
Unweighted Gpa: 3.54 (special circumstances fresh and soph years)
SAT Superscore: M- 600 CR- 620 W- 730
Academic interest: Journalism

What is your dream J-school?

oops, forgot to put the school in there…
University of Richmond

Your critical reading and writing are in Richmonds range but your math is a little below. How “good” are your ECs? Anything spectacular?
Your gpa will probably hurt you unless the conditions are explained, and understandable circumstances (ex: loss of loved one, serious illness) which you make it sound like it is.

So depending on your EC I would say probably a high match to low reach, better if you could get your SAT up some.

What do you consider good ECs? How is your leadership and community service?

I’m an editor in chief of yearbook
a page editor on school newspaper
co pres of a bible study group
participant in MUN
key club
Global citizens corps (committee chair)
relay for life co captain
National honor society
geometry student of the year

I also read the bible to an old lady which counts mostly for work but also 1/5 times it is community service.

I played soccer fresh/soph year
I was on the golf team soph year

So I guess my ecs aren’t as good as everyone else’s on here but I’m involved in a lot.

sophomore year I had mono and was out of school for two months

Match; if you can afford U Richmond, you can try U Missouri…

You do think UR is a match? Is that for ED II or Regular decision?
Also, does anyone know some pros and cons of Richmond?

Are you even applying ED II?

I’m still deciding if I should do ED II or Regular

ED will boost your chances…

Match is for ED II. High match if you’re doing RD.
