Chances at Drexel architect program

Hey everyone. I am senior at a well respected high school and am looking at the Drexel architecture program. I know their program is very competitive and admits only 28 a year. I have a gpa of 3.6 unweighted (3.9 weighted). I also am involved in many extracurricular activities.

VP of chess club
Interact club member (3 years)
Archives member (3 years)
Played soccer since 3 years old
Played freshmen soccer
CPR certified (2 years)
Certified soccer referee (3 year)
120+ hour of volunteer work at a local outreach program
Interned at local architecture firm (3 years)
Summer work at school library (3 years)
1850 on SAT

Could anyone tell me my chances at Drexel or other schools like NCSU or Pratt? Thanks.

Don’t worry, I don’t think that the program @ Drexel is really that hard to get in. The fact that they only accept 28 students every year is a bit misleading since #1 their architecture program is not the best program in the Anne Westphal School and #2 the program does not appeal to most students, hence the number of applicants to the school is low to begin with.

Also I hope that you are aware that the program is 2 years of architectural studies and then 4 years of working at firm, while going to night school throughout the year (including the summer). If you are looking for a program where you can get onto the fast-track to the real world, then this program is right for you. But note that you are sacrificing the college experience that everyone is experiencing.

I don’t know about NCSU or Pratt. But I do know that for Pratt, your portfolio is a big factor to your admission. So make sure you have a good portfolio.

Thanks very much. I have been losing sleep for days.

Can anyone else chance me? Thanks
