Chances at Duke, Cornell, Vanderbilt, Georgetown, Boston College, UNC, PSU?

I am apply to the schools above and Penn State honors. I realize a lot of these schools are a bit of a stretch, but I figure Penn State should be pretty sure since I live in Pennsylvania. I am also applying to Duke ED.

SAT:
Math: 730
CR: 670
Writing: 680 (11 on essay)

Haven't take SAT II yet, will take in October and expect to do well

Class rank: 13% from a fairly competitive high school (My rank dropped after last semester when I had to get surgery and missed a lot of stuff)

GPA: 3.7 UW

Course load: Very rigorous with most of the APs I could have taken

AP Test scores:
Calculus AB: 5
Calculus BC: 4
US History: 4
US Govt: 4
Taking AP English, AP Chem, and AP Latin next year

ECs:
4 years of football
3 years of wrestling
1 year of track
a few weeks on the Obama campaign

I have already written my essay for the Common App and have been told it was very good.

What are my chances at Duke (ED), Cornell, Vanderbilt, Georgetown, Boston College, UNC(out of state), PSU (in-state+Honors college)?

Edit: Forgot to mention my uncle went to Duke.

Duke (ED) - reach
Cornell - reach
Vanderbilt - match
Georgetown - slight match
Boston College - match
UNC - slight match
PSU - match for Honors

Although your uncle went to Duke, I don't think it will have an impact in admission.

These schools are reach schools for most people, but I think you have a shot at all of these places. Applying to Duke ED might raise your chances of acceptance even if your legacy has no impact on admission.

I'd like to get a few more responses.

I'd like at least one more opinion on my chances.

Please answer

Duke - Reach
Cornell - Reach
Vandy - Lesser Reach
Georgetown - Lesser Reach
BC - Probable
UNC - Reach
PSU - Probable

If you want a better chance for Duke, Cornell, and Vandy, work on making it to the top 10% of your class, or at least a strong first semester. Also, you need merit based awards to make yourself desirable and different from the thousands of applicants to these schools. The APs help.

I really don't know if I have any academic awards. What are some examples and does it matter that much?

Double post

The typical NHS, National Merit Scholar, etc. I think you'll be okay if you are a captain or take some leadership role in one or more of the sports. Do you have any individual achievements from the three sports?

Just look for chances to set you apart from the crowd. Everyone has a high GPA, a good SAT, and a slew of APs, and maybe even a sport.

More opinions please.

PSU honors: Likely
Georgetown: Reach
Cornell: Reach
Duke (ED): Reach
UNC: High math / low reach
Vandy: High match / low reach
BC: High match...80+% of BC incoming freshmen are in the top 10% of their class and mid 50% SAT for this year was 1950-2220 so you would probably be like most other applicants applying.

Good luck though, I may add one or two more solid safeties just to be safe.

By the way, Obama '08 :)
