Bumping this before it gets buried into oblivion.

Appreciate any input … thanks!

Very good shot, especially if you can bring up math score 50 points.

Thanks Redroses, much appreciated!

I think I did poorly on math last time b/c I didn’t have a math course the semester I took the SAT. I expect to do better since I have Calc now and I’ve been preparing.

You have a great balance of grades, ECs/Community Service and awards. I am not familiar with the Duke admissions. However, I would think they would see you as an outgoing and hardworking individual who takes school work seriously. Bravo on the 800 on the Critical Reading. That is very impressive. Good luck with everything!

I think you have a great chance, 800 on CR is quite incredible, I say if you go for early decision you could guarantee the admission

Chance me please?

After reading your thread and your post after, I’m stunned your not on the school newspaper or a writer or something of that sort. Good Job on CR 800. Your in luck because math is the easiest section to improve on, so that bodes in your favor. If you get an 800 on the Lit SAT II, your a god. And I agree with everyone above. You have a good shot at Duke. Man I wished I went to RYLA last year, some of my friends went and said that it was awesome. Good Luck.

Haha, my school is so small that we don’t even have a newspaper. I’d be on it for sure if we did, though. And yes, RYLA was pretty awesome.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone!

Sorry to bump, but I wanted to update with new SAT scores.
