Chances at ED 2010 I will chance back

<p>Chance me please for Cal Poly ED 2010</p>

<p>Major- Biological Sciences, keep in mind 2009 average is 3.9 csu gpa, 29 ACT </p>

<p>GPA- 3.55 uw, 3.65 uc/csu gpa, and 3.95 weighted, i have taken 12 AP/H freshman to junior year. I plan on taking AP Biology and AP Calculus BC next year</p>

<p>ACT- 31</p>

<p>Extracurricular:
Volunteer

  1. 200 hr. at local hospital
  2. 100 hr. assistant throwing coach
  3. 50 hr. local foodbank
  4. 50 hr. Boys and Girls Club</p>

<p>clubs/sports

  1. 4 year nhs (President 2009)
  2. 4 year csf
  3. 4 year mesa
  4. 4 year track and field (Captain, 4 year varsity, and 2 time defending league champ.)
  5. 4 year Red Cross</p>

  2. 2008 most improved thrower (made a 45 foot improvement in the discus from freshman year to sopomore year)
  3. 2008, 2009, (and hopefully 2010) league champ</p>

<p>Wow! You took a lot of AP classes didn’t you? Plus you were in a lot of extra currics.
I guess this is why your GPA is a bit low. I hope that doesn’t hurt you at CP because they don’t care about all of the extras so much. You wrote that the average was higher than what you have. I think that since Cal Poly is about numbers, this might ake it a little harder. Then again your ACT is super! That will help. Now the UC’s do seem to like when a students takes a lot of APs and has a ton of extras, so you may do well there. Davis is awesome for Bio and a very nice college town too.
Just keep learning and working hard and enjoy your senior year next year. You are clearly a strong student and will do well in college.</p>
