Bump Bump Bump

I think Cornell only looks at CR and M, so that is gonna hurt your chances pretty bad. To be honest with you, as soon as the admission officers see your rank they’re probably gonna throw your app away. But maybe Cornell doesn’t look at rank?

Cornell’s a reach, but what bout UT Austin?

bumped bump bumped

Yes for UT-Austin

Even with the harsh competition? A lot of people apply outside the top 8… I still don’t know if I’m likely to get in.

What will you be majoring in? That is a major factor into your college admission. I see that you have been in hockey in 4 years, will you pursue a hockey career in college? I read a article on “What extracurriculars count” and some of the most prestigious colleges (Darthmouth, NYU, Chicago, MIT) all say that they want you to participate in extracurriculars you want in your career choice (but not just clubs). For example, if you want to do a business undergrad, they want to see that you made your OWN business or even COMPANY, not just join FBLA. They can tell when you just join random clubs to “fluff up” your college resume, and thats what they don’t want at all.

Its hard to tell, but get back with more information on your major choice

Please chance me back!

Yeah, I’ll definitely be continuing with hockey at UT, but it’s just club hockey, not really an “official sport”. I’m applying to one of the easier colleges: natural sciences, but that’s because I’m majoring in Biology —> pre Med. And the other clubs definitely mean something, I love French, the Environment and volunteering… but the only thing that’s hurting is my class rank, and it’s too late to bring it up to top 8% :(

Bump this up

your rank is going to kill just kill you at cornell but considering that your from texas and a minority that will help you if your a native american your in for sure. chance me back http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1033113-chance-me-ill-chance-you-back.html
