Other Factors: i sent in a research abstract, had interview at Wash. U. and visited campus 3 times (met with coach of track team).

AHHHHHHHHHH!!! There go my chances. :(.

You're definitely going to get in. Your stats are good, and your EC are like EXCELLENT. My application looks flimsy next to yours.

Sigh...there goes my chance for the University Scholars in Medicine as well and all those scholarships. I have 0 hours of research, and pretty bad XC times compared to yours.

But yay! Congrats already b/c I'm pretty sure you made it in. I hope everybody's not as crazy good as you are. :)

You went to visit WashU 3 times? Sigh, I love that school. If we both make it in, it would be neat. Cystic Fibrosis and Cancer are major interests of mine, and I might run XC but I'm slow.

Good luck!

Thanks Stardash- I hope that you are right- and I am sure that I will be seeing you next yr. Do you think that my SATs are going to hurt me?

No I don't think so. Your SATs are in the average range, which is 1409.7(off some website I found-not so sure how trustworthy it is).

Anyway, SATs don't count for a lot. Your ECs are like...WOW, and that completely overshadows the SAt scores.

I'm not sure why Yale deferred you; I wouldn't have if I was Yale.

nope.. ur SAT score is quite decent
I was deferred EDI with similar score while many people with lower scores got in. So I know that scores don't affect much at wash u.

Good luck! :)

You're in for just Wash U but I'm not so sure about University Scholars...
The research is definitely a bonus - have you entered/won anything like Siemens or Intel? Your SAT scores are a bit low for University Scholars.

im gonna agree with jenz...i think you'll get in to wash u regular, but the university scholars is SO competitive...if you can raise them, do it, otherwise, just hope for the best

Thanks everyone for your comments- I appreciate it
