Chances at EECS?

Residence: out of state (NY)
Demographics: Asian (Indian) male. >200K income
Applying to: college of engineering
Major: EECS
GPA: 3.92-3.94UW, no unweighted gpa, 4.21 UC GPA. Perfect GPA in 9th and 10th grade, B+ in precalculus ES in 8th grade, B- in AP language and composition this year, A- possibly in Spanish4ES (similar to honors).
SAT: 2270-2400 (most likely 2300-2350).

90 hrs combined at 2 hospitals, total probably around another 30hrs elsewhere.
What are my chances? I'm worried about the downward trend in GPA and the fact that EECS at berkeley is rumored to as selective as high-tier ivy leagues. </p>

Match. You have very good chances. Your GPA seems fine I see no reason to be worried about that.

I believe the overall acceptance rate for freshman Engineering this past year was about 8%, and one would assume that EECS specifically would be even lower. That said, you have a very competitive resume and are a high income out of state applicant, which is a plus for you. If you did well on your personal statements, you should have a very good chance.

lmao ended up not applying due to being unlikley to receive any aid and 55k being too expensive.
