<p>For in-state Ga Tech, I think you look good, For Emory, i"ve heard (not back up by firm stats) that its more difficult for GA students to get in because they are seeking a national student body. On Tech, my D tossed it into her pile…just a reminder that the final deadline is TODAY. </p>

<p>Last year Tech’s average SAT was reported at 2185 and Emory’s is probably slightly higher. You have good leadership, but your class rank is a bit low even though it still cuts the top 10%, and more kids from your school are likely to be applying to the same universities. I’d say they are both low reaches with your current stats.</p>
