Chances at Emory, Vandy, UNC

Hey all,

I'm currently a freshman undergrad at a challenging liberal arts school. I'm considering transferring, and I was wondering if I could get some advice and possible chances on getting into Emory, Vandy, UNC, and maybe Duke.

Basic Stats:

HS: GPA -- 3.75 ( all honors )
ACT -- 30
Numerous ECs with many leadership positions, including class president and tennis team captain.

College: GPA -- 4.0 Economics and finance double major, possible minor in philosophy
Starter on tennis team, student government senator, guitar ensemble (on scholarship), fraternity, and a few other decent ECs.

I also have excellent relationships with some great professors who could most likely write solid recommendations.

And, if it means anything, there is a drastic upward trend in my HS grades -- straight As from junior year till graduation, all in challenging classes.

Thanks ahead for any help. If there are any other similar colleges you think I might have a shot at, please don't hesitate to mention them.

Also, I am out of state for UNC.

Emory-low reach, Vandy-reach, UNC-low match, Duke-high reach

How about Wake Forest?

Bump 10 char

I believe UNC just expanded the number of OOS students they’re going to be accepting, so I’d say you’re a good match for UNC.

Just as an aside, Wake Forest has extremely stringent standards for transferring credits. All transfer transcripts are evaluated /after/ admission and courses are accepted/rejected individually. And they accept nothing from community or junior colleges.
