Chances at GA Tech - School of Engineering

So I know the College of Engineering at GA Tech is pretty competitive, but would I have a shot?

OOS Hispanic Male

SAT: M: 780 CR: 690 W: 650
ACT: M: 33 ENG: 33 ENG/WRITING: 29

GPA: 4.03 W Rank: 11th percentile

ECs: My big ones would be (including realistic 12th grade predictions)
Orchestra - 9 years
Swim Team - 4 years; Varsity - 2 years
Water Polo - 2 years; Varsity - 1 year
School Council class rep. - 2years
Future Leaders of America Club - President 1 year (This was in my old school so I only have 1 year in which I was president and founder)
School Site Council - 2 years; Secretary - 2 years
NHS - 3 years
Key Club - 2 years; MAYBE VP 12th grade
Community Service - approx 130 hrs. and I also organized/helped organize a few service projects

Also, I applying for a Navy ROTC scholarship, so, just out of curiosity, how do midshipmen fit in at GT?

Thanks

How about APs? If you have decent number of APs, I dont see any problem of getting in. Good luck. Hope we'll see each other at Tech.

Sorry to be a "stat nazi" but 11th percentile is not very good...that would mean your GPA is high than only 11% of your class's and 89% of them have higher GPAs. I'm pretty sure you meant top 11%...very different things, haha.

Sorry, but I had to do it. My AP Statistics teacher has me whipped.

Oh, other than that...looks good!

^^^lol. Ya, I meant top 11%. You're very right.

Through high school, I will have taken AP World HIstory, AP us hist, Ap Physics, AP Eng Lang, AP Gov/Econ, AP Chem, AP Calc A and AP Eng LIt.

You're in.

Also, are SAT IIs a requirement for GATech admissions? Would they make me more competitive?

No, they don't look at SAT IIs.
