<p>The verbal score matches my son's and he got in. My son's math score and GPA was higher, though, so I can't say for sure.</p>
<p>GT weights the math score heavier than the verbal. I got in with a 660 I think four years ago.</p>
<p>Some AP's in calc/stat/phys would have been nice but too late now. </p>
<p>I wouldn't say you are out of the running, those were about my stats when I got in, although I hear it gets more competitive each year. I'd say you'd be a bit above average applicant.</p>
<p>Which field are you applying too? That does have an impact.</p>

<p>Your freshmen index is 3000, and you need as a minimum 2500 to get in. So, you look really good in comparison to others.</p>
