Chances at George Washington U?

<p>I am a senior in a public school in maryland and i am in the International Baccalaureate Program (it's like the AP program but it's considered more prestigious. Also, many colleges give credit for IB classes just as they do for AP classes)</p>

<p>Also, I am a South Asian female that can speak Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, English, and Spanish.</p>

<p>-Community Activities: I volunteer at Montgomery General Hospital in the Emergency Department and the Patient Care Section; I tutor Algebra and Spanish to students in the 8th grade; I interned at a dentist's clinic and shadowed the dentist for 6 weeks during the summer of 2007; I volunteered for the Orphan Foundation and assisted in packing gifts and make gift cards for the orphans; I participated in raising money for the event Springbrook's Fast for Darfur in which we raised money for children suffering from the genocide in Darfur; In addition on January 9th, 10th, and 11th I will be a counselor for children from Briggs Chaney Middle School at Outdoor Education.</p>

<p>-Sports: Badminton Club for 3.5 years; I was on the Tennis Team for 3 years and I competed against other local communities.</p>

<p>-School Clubs: I am in the Math Honors Society in which i also tutor Calculus; I am in Mu Alpha Theta in which i also offer sessions to assist my peers in mathematics; I am in the International Club in which I have learned to appreciate the diversity in my school as well as learn about other cultures and global issues; I am also a part of the Desi Club in which we raise awareness of the Indian Culture.</p>

<p>-Honors/Accomplishments: I was recommended for the Future Business Leaders of America; I received a certificate of nomination for the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine.</p>

<p>I took the SAT's three times and the highest of my scores are as follows:
Math: 640 Writing: 650 CR: 550 [total: 1840 out of 2400]</p>

<p>I took the SAT2 for Math 2: 610 and Biology: 580</p>

<p>I have been accepted to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (which is pretty easy to get into)</p>

<p>I do not know if my family will be able to apply for financial aid since the family income is not very low. I have gotten a very good recommendation letter from my AP Calc teacher..and i think the rest are good/ok.</p>

<p>Therefore...do you think i'll be able to get into GWU?</p>
