Vice President Students Council of my school
Awarded Best Student of the batch last year
National level Cricket Player been captain of the state team
Model United Nations where won best delegates and been a part of Executive Board of international MUNs twice
Won international 1st prizes at essay writing competitions

I have been placed in top 1% by my counselor in a class of 1010 students. I have also got great recommendations and a winning essay.

Most certainly. Georgia Tech has a pretty high acceptance rate, but it is still competitive. The fact that you are an international student should help you if you choose. What are you planning to major in?

Georgia Tech’s acceptance rate is expected to drop significantly this year.

I’m planning to do biomedical engineering . What would you say about my chances?

It’s around 55-60%

Last years EA acceptance rate was 55%. It’s expected to go down to 40% this year. It’s difficult to chance an international applicant, since they are evaluated differently from domestic applicants.

That’s bad news. But still, where do I stand?

You still have a fair chance. It isn’t as difficult as most people make it out to be. Get your SAT up, write amazing essays that show your passion, and visit gatech if you can.
