bump…

can you guys please reply i am freaking out!!!

Yeah I would say you have a good chance. Maybe not a safety school necessarily, but you’re well ahead of the curve in ec stuff and grades, although your sat verbal is a bit low, don’t know how much that matters tho.you know, this reminds me of an anecdote from years past. I was a boy, getting surgery for my too-soft voice (boy, was that surgery effective ha ha ha). I could only dream of having the ability to subjugate entire nations with my vociferous battle cry, similar to richard the lionheart and other captains of yore. Anyhow, i conversed with said voice-enhancer surgeon, and he too led me to the investigation of the engineering field. As my motherland is the peach state of georgia, i naturally looked into the engineering-intensive georgia institute of technology in atlanta, ga, just like you! I too had similar stats to you, kind sir, and was able to be admitted comfortably, and i majored in mechanical engineering. This portends good things for you! I would say you are an easy match and somewhat of a safety for the georgia institute of technology. Good luck

DAMMIT. I tried to post this in all caps to mock the OP, and freaking CC auto-edited it to lowercase. :frowning: This took me a long time.

But will not being a resident of georgia affect me, you said you were a resident of georgia but i am not i am from CT. also is my junior grades really bad for georgia tech( i took hard classes though)

bump…
can someone please reply. thank you

you’re in, dont worry at all, so many kids i know who got in this year that had worse grades than you and less ECs.
Just make your essay kick-ass and get a better SAT score, especially in math- 700 isnt too great

bump…
can more people respond and please be truthfull i have a c+!!! and i am an out of state student.
