<p>Getting in the college of liberal arts is not as difficult as the other colleges (business). I think if you have over a 3.5 gpa, you will have a good shot of getting in.</p>

<p>I applied to UT with gov as my 1st last semester but I got rejected. My gpa was a 3.448, so it’s not a huge surprise. I have now raised it to a 3.486 and will have a 3.5+ by then end of next semester. From what I’ve seen from following the transfer thread for the past year is that a 3.5 gets you in to COLA most of the time.</p>
