Yes, I'm aware my GPA is terrible, but it was really fucked up in 9th grade when i got C's and D's in all classes basically. I've improved every year since and have taken harder and harder courses each year. My junior year i basically got all B's and A's in challenging course. Hoping this will mean something to the admissions officers, But i just wanna get a ballpark of my chances.

bump

Likely reach for all. GPA is too low. Are you sure you calculate it properly?

4.4 out of 5.0 is most likely not a 3.3/ Unweighted GPAs have to do with the grade in your classes regardless of the levels.
All A’s: 4.0, 1-2 B’s: 3.8, etc.

I’m fairly certain you can’t get a 4.4 with a 3.3 UW.

I am less concern about the wGPA to uwGPA. OP said he got all C/D in 9th grade and a mix of A & B for Junior. These grades would not give a GPA of 3.3. Since 9th grade GPA is below 2 and the other years are below 4, there is no way to get 3.3.

like i said, idk what my unweighted gpa is cause my school never calculated it

Since you know the letter grades, why don’t you calculate from them? It is simple. Just use all A as 4.0, all B as 3.0, all C at 2.0 and all D as 1.0 to see what average do you get.

But my weighted GPA is definetely 4.4
