Chances at getting into the Naval Academy

Right now I am a Junior in High School and was wondering what my chances at getting into the Naval Academy are.
At the moment I am taking 3 AP classes: AP Calculus, AP U.S. History, and AP Music Theory
I dont know my GPA, I'm getting my semester report card in about a week, but it should be a 4.0 or possibly higher. My PSAT score was 173, which should come out to be around 1700-1750 on the SAT. I am going to do track this spring and I am in the Civil Air Patrol
and I am going to start JROTC this semester.

I got a pretty late start at this whole thing. In spring of my sophomore year a friend of mine, who had been in the Navy for a long time and worked for NASA as a crew chief of an SR-71 and space shuttle, told me about naval aviation and the Naval Academy. This sparked my interest in the school and the navy, and I have thought about it every day since. Since then, I've been giving this 110%, but I would like to know how I could increase my chances. I know how the process works and that the academies look for academic performance, leadership, and a strong athletic background. I'm doing my best to cover all three, but could use some more guidance and advice.

Well my brother in law graduated from the Naval Academy, the best thing to do is to possibly start getting your contacts ready, start writing to senators and representatives so you can know for sure that they are going to submit your application to the naval academy. Start joining clubs and becoming presidents, and especially work on your physique, the physical aptitude test is very strenuous. If you can distinguish yourself as a leader and how you use your leadership qualities daily, you have a great chance at getting in. (look into the Air Force Academy as well as West point)
