Ok so my mom is set on me applying at UGA and I have no problem with that. The only thing is I think I have absolutely NO CHANCE at getting in. Mostly because my SAT scores. 1) I'm terrible at standardized test and 2) I was so tired.

SAT SCORES
Reading 490
Math 480
Writing 520

yea pretty embarrassing I know but what are my chances?

Btw it's my senior year and my unweighted gpa is a 3.3

And all honors since tenth grade yr, 4 AP classes(5 depending on my schedule this upcoming semester) NHS Society, Step Team, National English Society, YMCA volunteer, and singing lessons every week. And I'm going to apply to the Hugh Hodgson School of Music. Yes I know not very impressive. But all those things take up a lot of time and so many times conflict.

And I'm African American if that helps. lolz I'm just trying to list everything before I actually apply. I want to see if it's worth the shot.

Test Scores for UGA – 25th / 75th Percentile
SAT Critical Reading: 560 / 660
SAT Math: 570 / 660
SAT Writing: 560 / 660

Your test scores are low, but maybe you could take them again or take SAT IIs to compensate. However you still have a decent chance as your GPA and rigor are pretty good. Just write terrific essays and get good recommendation letters. URM status may also help a bit.

What about GSU? And I also took the SATS once before this and my scores improved ALOT but I usually leave them off because they were so bad but should I include them on my applications anyway to show that improvement? And I’m stuck with these scores because I don’t think they are taking scores after Jan. 15

I knew a girl with similar stats (even worse SATs) that got into UGA so you should apply and see what happens. Also, you definitely need to take advantage of the 4 short essays to distinguish your voice.
