SATII- 710 US History 640 Math2
AP- Us History -3 Spanish Lang -2 and taking chem, english and calc ab this year.
Plenty of EC's over 2500 hrs of volunteer work during summers and I'm holding down an afterschool job this year. I'm part of the physics club, a local reefkeeping club and into painting and have a couple other ECs.

My dad also went to GT and I hear I get to be considered as an instate applicant which is supposed to help me. What are my chances?

Your numbers are a bit lower than some of the other applicants but it doesn't put you out of the running. They won't care that you are a 'Asian Guy born and living in california' but they will care that your dad went there.

If they don't accept you outright they will give you a 'conditional acceptance' since you are a 'legacy'. The deal would be go to any other college and make a 3.0 after 30 hours and you are automatically in.

It won't likely qualify you for in state tuition unless one of your parents lives in GA. Tech doesn't make that call, the state does.

Take the SAT again and practice. Bring up the math and you'll be much better off.
