You need to bring up uor critical reading score to at least a 720.

I got in with a 630, worry more on being authentic in your app, and highlighting what is unique in you, there are plenty of new jersey applicants with semi-identical applications.

2 Questions---

This may sound absolutely ridiculous, but could I write my essay in SPanish? Also, do you think thatr I should put that I am Jewish on my application, or does it not matter? Thanks for the honest responses.

I'm pretty sure that application essays must be in English. As for your second question: yes! Applications are (or are supposed to be) windows into who you are as a person. The adcom knows very little about you, so as much information as you can or would like to give them needs to be displayed in your application. If you feel that telling them you're Jewish gives them a better picture of who you are, go for it. Besides, it'd tie in your synagogue youth group and high school. ;-)

Good luck!

Same advice, is being Jewish is a part of you, they hould know.

"should know" sorry, I pressed it too soon, I think the only way to apply is in Eng.

if you guys don't mind me asking, what were your scores for the SAT I and SAT II's? I just want to know comparitively how much I have to bring my scores up, if any. Any advidce would be well worth it.

mmc, do you go to a Jewish school? Only asking because my school was also in the NJ Mock Trial Regionals. =)

no, I don't go to a Jewsih school, but I do remember beating a team from an all-jewish school in the first round, if that helps.

Ohh ok...then you must've gotten farther than us because the all-Jewish school beat us. Congrats!
