Study Abroad?

I was planning on taking more AP classes Junior year to boost my GPA, but I wasn't able to because I was studying abroad. I wrote this on my application though, and my teacher supported this on her reference. I want to study German and International Relations. Thanks everyone!

Agree with rocket6louise. (Probably low reach or high match for American.) Any leadership positions in your ECs? Definitely good stuff for your intended major though.

I would love to go to Chapel Hill but I know I wouldn’t get in. The competition is fierce for students from Raleigh, as that’s where the most students apply from and the best schools are (besides maybe Charlotte.) At least that’s what my teachers have been saying since sophomore year lol… Thanks everyone (:

I can’t see any reason why you’d be rejected from American. GW on the other hand is more competitive, I think ED will help. I also think getting a 30-31 on the ACT will help you immensely. The GPA is solid – as long as you are in the top quarter of your HS class.
